Please see the gif... 2 issues I see:
1) The default format isn't good enough?
2) using the prettier run from the problem window causes it to eat the first line every time its run...

Closed for now - we've released many vscode & cli versions since then - please check it out and see if this still is a problem. Thanks!

We'll investigate! I'm really not sure why, but I think this is WSL related. Could not repro on mac or linux

David Apirian: Could be. The Host file system mount (/mnt/c) is known to have a wee bit of lag - but usually I've not even noticed.
